Riverside Racing Syndicate - New horse

Hi All, as many of you will know, we started a Boro themed Racing Syndicate a couple of years ago after looking for members on this board. It’s a been a fantastic journey since then, first with Lady Erimus and last season with Infant Hercules, even though Covid-19 intervened to disrupt the season somewhat. Having sold Infant Hercules, we can now announce that for the next flat season, we have recently purchased a sharp looking filly which we have recently named LADY AYRESOME, and are looking for a few new members to make our numbers up. I have posted a picture below of the filly, and if anyone has any sort of interest in joining us, please email me at mrisaac1910@yahoo.com for details. ECF413AC-BCB7-4ED0-B01E-0A919D7F1FC0.jpeg

She is a yearling and is in training with Kevin Ryan who has trained both Lady Erimus and Infant Hercules.

How did Erimus get on in the end?
Do you still have the second horse? (sorry forgot it’s name)
Lady Erimus was only leased by us and went back to her owners and subsequently suffered an injury which forced her retirement. The other horse was Infant Hercules who performed very well for us without getting a win to his name, but did finish 2nd twice and third and was subsequently sold for a decent profit.

Sorry got my horses mixed up. Erimus was the first horse and won at Thirsk yes? I was there in the day and had a win on her

Infant Hercules was the horse last season but didn’t you have another also with a weird name?

We had two short term horses to fill quiet periods, one was Dutch Pursuit, the other Kyllachy Warrior. Needless to say, they didn’t do very well and we learnt a lot from these short term experiences. The main one being that patience is the key.

Kyllachy Warrior was the one I couldn’t remember... didn’t know about Dutch warrior.

so going forward it’s just going to be the one horse

Initially yes, but if an opportunity arises that is good for the syndicate then we would take it with both hands. We started with nothing, “begged, stole and borrowed“ to get us going and now we sit comfortably with our own horse in training and money in the bank after a great result selling Infant Hercules. Things are heading in the right direction.
