Rise of the far-right

To be honest some of the rhetoric like this doesn't help. Conflating people barely on either side of the spectrum as far right or far left just muddies the water (I'm on about the regular man in the street, not the shooter). The country might have shifted slightly right recently but it doesn't mean they are all far right. Corbyn and his followers have moved Labour from centre to centre left and are labelled as far left communists. The number of people on the fringe that would cause actual harm isn't much different than it has ever been. The few nutters are getting more coverage because the media are happy to stoke the fire and the people on the opposite side feel more comfortable that they are "right" if they can paint someone with the opposite view as "far".

Religion is politics, especially fundamental nut jobs who only want their religion & rules to govern.
We have a House of Lords, still with un-elected religious authority over our constitutional debate & direction
The Right is rising as is the Left... there will always be people pushing their radical views & able to gather momentum (no pun intended) around them.
