RIP Terry Cooper

Did he own the paper shop/post office opposite Whinney Banks? I am sure in the very early 80’s me and a mate used to go in to see if her was ever in..
he never was..
RIP too soon for me to see play but a name I associated with Boro.

Best LB Boro ever had. I am gutted right now, in bits. He was just brilliant and a part of a team that should have won the league (1st Division).

RIP Terry, my dad, for one, will be looking out for you. He loved you and the fact you completed the best Boro team we both ever saw.

Very sad news. Was at Stamford Bridge when he got sent off but we still won the game. After the match he came back on to congratulate the players and shake his fist in defiance.

Morning coluka, without a doubt we should have won the league, even with our limited firepower up front we were still chasing the dream double up till the Brum game, then it just fell away, just look at the back 4, with Platty behind them, IMHO, the best ever
