RIP Max Mosely

You cannot pick the family you are born into.
This must have been a terrible burden to bear. Max father Oswald Mosely the British fascist leader was interned during WWII, not tried for treason etc. His war was very comfortable indeed, he studied classics. And was released to become active again in politics after the war, continuing his far right, one nation racism, even speaking at Middlesbrough Town Hall. He didn't die til 1980.
Oswald and the Mitfords (his wife Diana and also her sister Unity were followers and indeed friends of Hitler and Eva Braun) were so well treated by the establishment and allowed to continue with their abhorrent views and attempts to recruit and agitate. It must have been really hard for their sons.

Indeed. His whole family was littered with extreme right-wing views. Considering all that, he could have developed into a despicable human being, and he plainly didn't. RIP.
