Rip Clive Sinclair

ZX81 was my first computer in 1981. It only had 1K of RAM but it was amazing what you could do with it, to think that my phone now has 6GB of RAM !

I've still got a ZX81 in the loft, along with a VIC 20, Plus 4, Sinclair QL, Atari ST and a few others.

Loved my Speccy, wouldn't have the career I do without it. I was hooked from Manic Miner and The Hobbit, but then Jet Set Willi, Lords of Midnight, all the Oceans games like Batman and Knight Lore, Skool Daze and Back To Skool, Daley Cathlons DeThompson, Jetpac, Attick Attack, Way of the Exploding Fist, Doomdarks Revenge

A whole generation of kids were either in the Spectrum or the Commodore camp, with feelings running so high at my school that fights almost used to break out! I was on the Commodore side of things personally.

Legend. One of the founding fathers of the IT dominated world in which we now live. Things have changed so much over that time.

I was a C64 owner back in the day, but played on friends' and relatives' ZX Spectrums and even the ZX81. Amazing to think how far things have come from then. I was half dreaming about how I would have reacted at the age of 14 or 15 to an iPhone or similar.

"Daley Cathlons DeThompson"

That's a hell of a typo! :ROFLMAO:
