Shame ! Took the grandkids to see him in panto at the little theatre few years ago.....I think he played Capt Hook

That's Trigger / Mike / Albert and Grandad. I've probably missed a fewšŸ˜•
 
He pulled out of a tour he was doing after the first night only last week so assume he went down hill quickly.

He had some of the best lines in the best comedy series ever, he left his mark on all of us, you canā€™t ask for much more than that.
 
I just wanted to say Iā€™m very sad about this. I saw him do his one man show ā€œonly fools and boycieā€ back in 2015 which was really good. My brother queued up to have his photo taken with him after.

Ahhhh, didnt know that, thats a shame, great character in OF&H, I got told rcently that he spoke & laughed as his character did in Citezen Smith a program from the 70's which one of the writer brother Sullivans seen him in the episode & wanted him in OF&H

I just been texting one of my mates about him. We were saying he didnā€™t have that many memorable one liners but he was brilliant at always being the butt of the joke.
