Oh I miss scarfs hanging out of car windows. Either a Boro one or trying to workout what club it belonged to through a good look at fixtures in the paper (no phones then).
That said it was never wise to leave on the boot tray on an away day. Usually lead to vandilised car (main road area)

Same here (the Boro sticker anyway), but there are quite a few poms around here, and we used to have holiday makers from the UK in the good old daysI have an England one in the back of my car (and a Boro sticker, goodness knows what the locals make of them!)
