Hoping this is ok to post, I’m sure the family would be grateful.
I’ve just been asked by my cousin to sign up to be a stem cell donor for her friends 8 year old daughter who is very poorly and the only cure is a stem cell replacement.
I’ve read the requirements and it really isn’t too invasive if you were a match so have signed up.

I did this a month ago and it is really easy to register and get checked. They send some swabs through the post, you stick em in your gob, pop them in a pre paid envelope then put it in the post box.
If you are contacted in the future to say you are a match, there isn’t even an obligation to proceed, if you change your mind down the line.
Very easy way to find out if you can potentially save somebody’s life
