Rees-Mogg backs Truss's claim UK workers need 'more graft'

So she's doubled down on it and said hard workers set up small businesses. Does that mean the rest of us 'employees' are just tossing it off?
As for the Victorian Pencil becoming Levelling Up Minister, well, that would be taking the ****.

These posh privileged elitist born-to-rule ***** completely unaware of how easy their lives have been due to the opportunities afforded to them by birth or parental success, telling the rest of us plebs that we don’t work hard enough…this kind of rhetoric is only going to take things in one direction.
Up The Workers!

I'm surprised he has time to comment on such matters given that he is so overworked trying to identify and count up Brexit opportunities.
The man has zero knowledge of the working public.

How on earth has Mogg got any credibility???
He clearly has mental issues.
I spoke to a teesside tory who was a big fan , he was clearly heartbroken when I pointed out that Moggs father was an employee, not landed gentry, perhaps this bonkers image he plies goes back to his Eton days when he went to school with the sons of the ruling classes when all his papa did was sell newspapers.

His dad was editor of The Times - he was a boss and probably worked harder than the current Rees-Mogg.

The Rees Mogg generation before that owned Coal mines around Bristol. I am sure their coal miners worked hard and died young.

JRM seems an actor to me more than a politician.

The only way the current situation will be remedied is when heads start to appear on stakes and proceeds from government corruption are reclaimed.

I do remember a time that Truss and Mogg talk about.

We had shipyards, rig yards, ICI and steel mills supplying the world with everything that they needed. We built infrastructure all around the world and could be proud of the days work we did. We built iconic structures all round the world and flood barriers to protect good old London.

The plants the Conservatives didn’t close got solid to foreign investors who milked the system and then closed them down.

It is hard to be proud of working in a call centre - no disrespect meant to any one who works in a call centre.
