Brawn said two years ago when this was all introduced that a team would loose their championship over breaches to the cost cap
I’m not sure blatantly cheating to win a championship is also fair but they did

They are bound to say that. I will just abide by the decision the FIA make. There is more to life than worrying abut little rules here and there. I'm just enjoying the racing. It was nice to see Max win last week anyway, lets just be happy for him and Christian.

F1 are getting everything they deserve though and ironically they have caused it themselves, would love it if max and RB continue to dominate for years destroying any competition and making the races not worth watching. They have destroyed the sport for so many of the core fans that stuck with it while no one else was interested so happy to see it go to **** once again

I remember McClaren losing all of their 2007 points due to cheating (knicking info off Ferrari) but the drivers kept theirs. Neither Hamiilton or Alonso won world title though. Hamilton lost by a point in his maiden season to Kimi.
I think the fact that neither driver won the world title probably tempered the calls for point loses but McClaren were demoted to last place from 2nd and lost all of their prize money, so an equivalence to Red Bull couldf be drawn here.

It's about 5% of an overall allowed budget, 5% is significant. If you can make any formula 1 car go 5% faster you will win nearly every race. I know there is a law of diminishing returns for that investment, but you get the picture.

No, I was quoting Ferrari binnoto, and if anything I was under quoting him as he said 1 mil represent 0.1 and 5 mil represents 0.5 seconds
