I remember at the time saying in the Bolton game he was deliberately trying to get booked - and it was almost like the ref was trying his hardest not to book him. (Though he did eventually)

He'd spending all his time on the course anyway wouldn't he?

Partly serious, he clearly prefers golf to football to the point it's affected his professionalism previously. Having a top class course next to his office isn't going to help him focus on the job is it?
