Given his reputation and experience I'm genuinely surprised at some of the decisions he's made so far.
He made a big mistake not sticking with the same team which beat Stoke for the game against Hull. A manager of his experience should know that the golden rule in football is not to change a winning team.
When I initially saw the teamsheet today I was intrigued, and liked the fact he was being bold with the selection, but I was expecting us to set up with wing-backs, a back 3 of Fry, Moukoudi and Friend, with Roberts playing in the hole behind Britt and Fletcher. Moukoudi as a holding midfielder just didn't work, and Roberts was wasted wide right. He still did well I thought, but would have been so much more effective playing through the middle.
I was also really disappointed with his substituions. We all said he needs to make the changes at half-time, and most of us said the obvious changes to make was to bring Tav and Coulson on. I can't understand why he waited until 70+ mins to bring them on, and instead brings on Wing who was dreadful at Hull, and Nmecha, who let's be honest is hopeless.
As happy as I was when Warnock was appointed, I'm genuinely worried for us now. Yes, I accept he's not got great quality to work with, but for me he's got it wrong these last two games.
