We're back to doing the things we did last season. Some nice little triangles, particularly down the wings. Having a settled side has allowed the players to develop an understanding with one another.

Love the way Barlaser appears from nowhere to steal the ball in midfield.

That little drop of the shoulder to roll his man when Dieng played him the ball during the 1st half was a thing of beauty.

I thought the first half was a very open attacking game, fair play to Brum for not sitting back and parking the bus like in previous seasons. It was an entertaining game even at 0-0. Our defence was solid 3 clean sheets in a row is lovely to see too.

I thoroughly enjoyed the match and the way we played.
Crooks and Hackney were outstanding.
Barlaser and Jones were also very very good.
In fairness they all played well and it would have been a travesty had we not won.

Nice that we continued our good tempo and patterns of play from before the international break.
The first break was welcome because we were awful. However, when you’re in good form, you always worry it might stall you a little.
No signs of that today.

Boro made Brum look very ordinary indeed. Ruddy saved them from a trouncing.

Really enjoyed the first half; I though Brum cam to make a game of it, leaving 3 up when we had a corner, and playing some decent attacking stuff themselves.

We did get well on top though, and really should have been ahead at HT.

I think Rooney realised that if they stood and traded blows with us, we would have taken them apart eventually, so they went for spoiling in the end

The second half was less if a show as a result, bug I was very satisfied to come out on top of a different sort of half from the first.
