He has ability no doubt about that but did you know that Real Madrid wrote to him personally after his awful injury

He played eng u21so he was on the radar of a few clubs

I remember at the time a few Sunlun fans at work mentioning it.

He was shocked to find a letter from madrid.

He was highly regarded prior to the injuries so wouldn’t be surprised if they were keeping tabs on him.

I’ve been impressed with him, can tell he’s short of fitness and sharpness but he’s been lively and he’s one of the few players we’ve got that is always looking to try and take someone on.
 
Last year I thought we should have nabbed but shortly afterwards he got his second ACL -- he's had such a run of bad luck-- luck for him technology has meant that he can come back as good as new. [fingers crossed] -- let's hope he'll sign on full time-- although I'd have to say he's a level above us-- second goal today was top drawer.
 
In my early teens I sent a few job application letters based on my football manager CV.

I actually recieved a really nice reply from Man City 'congratulating' me on winning the prem with West ham (don't ask😂).

They said 'I didn't have enough European experience'. Fairplay👍

Unless I dreamt it, didn't someone do the same for the Boro job many moons ago?
I seem to remember them sharing the written reply that they got from Gibbo with the newspapers.
