As it’s clear that finishing as well as positioning is the key so with the likes of billy sharp and charlie Austin still scoring goals in this league.

Should we have looked at a similar type of player just to see out the season, I’m thinking like a Defoe or someone of that ilk.

As we know they would score in the right side.

Austin has scored 6 in 34 games this season 🤷‍♂️
 
That Davies is having a blinder at Forest on loan from Villa. I think his name was thrown around a lot on here. He's quick and powerful and they wonna buy him. Although not sure he suits our 'style'.

It's funny as arguably forest's 3 best players have been Spence / Garner and Davies. All on loan. That's how you use the loan market.

Warnock wanted him and Davies was lined up....Perhaps Neil knew what he was doing after all....???

I think you might have answered your own question with the inclusion of Defoe. Returned to Sunderland and retired after about a week!
