Ravel Morrison

Tav and Rav - has a ring to it.

Woodgate wasn’t an angel as young’un, granted he settled down and Ravel has had numerous opportunities which have gone begging. Woodgate obviously must think he can get something out of the lad. I don’t think we have anything to lose on taking a chance on him this season.
Hopefully he’ll get people outta their seats, we need something like him now Roberts is injured.

I don't think its a good idea, but then we took on Gaston Ramirez and for a half a season he was electric for us.

If we do get him and we’re playing with only one recognised forward, I’ll like to see him just behind. Haven watched his YouTube clips, he picks the ball up wall too deep to be effective, play him in a Tomlin/Gaston type role and lets see what happens.

I reckon he's definitely signing, and it doesn't excite me whatsoever.
Hopefully he finally kickstarts his career here, but it worries me that Chris Wilder has written him off.

Ravel Morrison v Gaston Ramirez do not compare at all.

On the point I was making laying out his career stats - he hardly plays. Either that is a combination of injury, fall outs with his manager or just lack of form I don’t know but you can’t expect us to look forward to him coming in - purely on the basis that there’s no form at all in the past 6 seasons I’m all for trying out players who have had some form but not for me this bloke.

I think Marcus Browne has to prove himself all over again by playing brilliantly and showing maturity by not losing his head anymore. I don't expect to ever see him play for us again. He has to somehow prove that he is not a complete liability.

I think he’s proved himself. You just have to read the Oxford fans raving about him. He has to prove himself here and settle yes and I hope he gets the chance. I’d be very disappointed if he doesn’t come back.

Four games back at Oxford? A club and a level he’s previously done well at and he has proved himself? That’s some turn around.

He’s only proved himself when he does something here. He’s got talent that’s for sure and I’m looking forward to having him back next season to see what he can do but to suggest he’s proved himself after a good performance against Newcastle is ridiculous.

It’s not just the four games he has played since his return. The warm reception of his resigning suggests he was a popular player at Oxford. So no I’m not basing it on these recent 4 performances. You may have doubts but personally feel he’s not been given enough time to settle and show us what he can do.

I don’t think he has been given enough time to show us what he can do, however, I also don’t believe he has proved himself. I dare say Marvin Johnson would be warmly received if he went back to Oxford as well.

Given Woody’s first presser began on time, lateness can’t be tolerated.

If we were pushing for promotion or fighting relegation, I wouldn’t have him but where we are? Mid table and financially on our ass, why not? Hopefully, this will be the club were it works for him, if not, back to Sheffield United he goes.
