Rav Van de Berg ... Wow !!!

Jones did a lot of defensive work to try and assist in stopping Sterling but as Jones tired and Chelsea brought on Mudryk, Rav just stepped up a gear and seemed to love the challenge and never gave Mudryk a second, excellent defensive performance overall, not without a little luck mind, let's not kid ourselves Chelsea should of scored at least 3/4 so we need to keep concentration levels in the second leg and hope we have a more fit squad for options of pace and power as I think Lath would of caused them all sorts of problems if he had stayed on the pitch

I have thought this all season about VDB everytime I have seen him, however I had an expectation when at the start of the season, I was in the presence of the great Grant Leadbitter, he stated that he was one of the best potentials he has seen.

He has pretty much proved that up until now. Versatile, mature decision making and strong.
