Rangers heading for a sell-out?

Rangers were as successful as they were due to the English Invasion .. Chris Woods, Gary Stevens, Terry Butcher, Trevor Steven, Mark Hateley, Ray Wilkins Mark Walters etc etc (England internationals too)
They did ok before that, with about 40 league titles, 40 domestic cups and a European trophy.

I always thought that hearts and Hibs were similar to Rangers/Celtic in terms of their secterian alliances, if not as intense.
Yes , I agree hence the point about Union Jacks at Rangers - The Unionist/NI issue or element has quite an influence. Irish element - probably even stronger at Celtic. The migration of the 1850s to Glasgow by Irish people seems to have a very big legacy today.

One of the glamour clubs from England Premier is probably who would excite Rangers fans. Money wise we are are at less than 10% of EPL budgets.

Just two blocks left to be released old bean: BR1 and BR5. So that will be the last 1,600 once the dregs of the open block are supped up. So yes - getting on for 6,400 sold. See you there!
Still 5 weeks to the match, it will keep selling big by bit every day until they are taken off sale, then you always get some turn up on the day, I think we will sell 8k maybe more if they give us the corner where away fans normally go @2000..

About 3,000 at Darlo one year is the highest I can remember.

I now fancy going just for the experience and I live over 340 miles away.
I wanted to go but when I initially missed out on the cheap direct travel through delaying a couple of days , I thought it was no big deal if I didn't go, but then the day the tickets went on sale I got the bug and realised I had to be there, + I'm in a period of my life where health issues are circling and I knew things like this are the memories I want rather than sitting at home.

I know what you mean.
Had a health scare at the end of last year which made me think.
I finally got round to going to Ibrox for a European game (on the bucket list), against Fernabahce earlier this year.
It was a brilliant experience- that ground is built for atmosphere and the fans know how to deliver it.
Hoping to get to an auld firm game next season.

Can only think the game is secondary for a jamboree in glasgow for a weekend. I expect rangers part of the stadium to be half empty as people have said the game is sandwiched between 2 more important games, so we probs playing there reserves.

Whist just in jest re wearing Celtic colours etc try and remember we have a sizeable number of younger fans, often partial to the devils dandruff, who will genuinely think it is a bit of a laugh and not get the risk they are taking somewhere like Glasgow.

I'm more worried about the older fans
