This is gross mismanagement on an unprecedented scale, millions of pounds of public money spent with nothing in return, we knew this was coming in January and should have spent February and March doing due diligence and getting into a position with suppliers, wholesalers, manufacturers and distributors that we know could provide what was needed to the standards that were required.
Johnson throughout this debacle has given unachievable headline figures and policies that have put additional pressure on the system when a more circumspect and analytical approach might have been better, understanding the uniqueness of the situation but not losing sight of the processes that needed to be observed would have been the way it should have been lead, not the scattergun uncontrolled approach that seems to have been taken.
There is an argument that doing something is better than doing nothing but if the something you are doing is wrong then taking a moment to formulate a plan that will work should be the course of action.
