Raise Your Scarves for the Boro

We used to sing ' you'll never walk alone ' in the holgate , as the old pictures show .
V Man City at Ayresome , in the cup , 40,000 crowd ,we went 1-0 up and the holgate did Walk on , I was in the chicken run next to the City fans , and they were saying , they had been to anfield , but never seen or heard anything like that . Made the hairs stand up on my neck . The whole ground sang it . Got beat 4-0 in the replay 😔
Why not sing it now ? Everyone knows it . Bring it back .

Rob, I appreciate you may or may not be part of this… but if RF and 12th man are putting all this effort in and selecting a very precise time to sing with scarves aloft, I hope the stadium announcer has been briefed as well and doesn’t spoil it by doing his own thing…
Yes they are working with John Foster (announcer) and Boro on all this. Fans will have a clear run - unless no one turns out and there is nothing happening. But everyone has bene working together.

Hope he turns the music off then. These new speakers turned upto 200% are garbage.

Has everyone located their scarf.
Am sure we will be invaded by half and halfs again like Saturday, when there were Chelsea as well as Villa on sale, on the walk towards the stadium. But you would need to keep the blue half covered as we parade them before kick off.

I mean, why?

Why would ANYONE other than a complete neutral just coming to their first ever game want such a thing? If someone gives you one of these abominations, cut off the blue bit and use it next time you run out of bog roll.

Don't these half/half fellas sell others too? I'm sure whenever i've seen them about they've got others for sale too.

These guys will know its a sell out tonight so 100% they'll have the half and half options for the game being a big event but if any of them have got any business sense and are online they'll know the push for scarves thats going on and will be bringing everything they've got to try and flog.

The sight of the holgate singing ynwa against Arsenal in the cup around 76 was an incredible site looking from the Clive road corner. A sea of scarves/flags from end to end. Never seen a photo of it sadly.
Not that I want it bringing back, a bit too Scouse/celt.
