Radio Tees, after-match comments from listeners

I didnt hear it and Im sure it was an over reaction - but we were also pretty crap.

Thats just the way it is, we dont have the squad for a real promotion tilt this year - being kind, Lath, Rogers, Silvera, Engel are all projects who will be better next season
 
I rarely listen to Radio Tees and even so, would often switch off following the final whistle but do remember, BBC Tees do have an option as to whose messages they read out - it is all abit talkSporty for me, having silly messages read out to provoke some form of reaction.

We weren't great on Saturday, but it certainly wasn't worth phoning up about. Go get yer tea and chill out.

I think the biggest issue when we lose like that is normal people just want to go straight home after the match, there isn’t much good to say so they won’t phone in. So all BBC Tees are left with is the shouty angry wife beater types, the sort who moan after every game even when we win but think they can now justify the weeks of sh1te they’ve been spouting because of a bad result.

I actually think we do have the squad to make the playoffs. I looked at the players we had missing on Saturday and if you threw in a goalkeeper to make it a full team it was actually one heck of a line up.

I know Coburn was on the subs bench but if he has a hernia i can’t see him figuring much.
We are missing a heck of a lot of quality at the moment and i can’t recall a season where we’ve had this many mid to long term injuries landing on us. I’m not surprised we struggled on Saturday with 10 first team regulars missing but if we can get most of these players back by new year with a couple of new signings thrown in then we might still be in with a shot at the playoffs

I get where you are coming from but we still leak too many soft goals and still dont score enough. The squad right now isnt good enough for the play offs IMO. We need to add some quality in january to be contenders
