Mick Baxter missed the final home game of 83-84, the only game he missed that season then signed for Portsmouth in the dummer of 1984 & sadly, never played a game for Pompey

Made his debut against Liverpool, left back, drew 1-1 in September 1981. His brother Geoff was a boxer, British welterweight champion, fought and lost for both European and world titles.

Billingham lads, lived a couple of streets away from myself.
