Query - Drone flying over Normanby?

There's been a drone flying over my house the last tow days, it's hovered and paused slightly before moving round the other houses in the road and doing exactly the same thing. After it left our road it headed off in the Smith's Dock Park direction.

Is there anyway I can check out on line if this is the police or just someone looking for an opportunity? I've googled and get the 101 number.

Just rang Cleveland Police and they are not allowed to tell you if they are using a drone in the area.

If it is them, I am not bothered and feel it would be a good thing to prevent crime, if it is not them, do I need to be worried or do I just have a nosy neighbour.

More likely to be someone checking what people have got in their gardens than police or a nosy neighbour. Now summer is arriving, weather has been good and more people at home there is more patio furniture, bbqs, bikes left outside, that sort of thing

But it could be crime prevention, don't see why they can't tell you if it is their drone, they don't need to give you any detail, just tell you it's them to give you peace of mind and it's not the more sinister scenario I mooted

or you could get all miss marple and just track it to where it eventually lands, it can't stay up forever so track it to see who's flying it

They are coming on nicely. ;) The garden's looking well, the grape vine is taking over the greenhouse, tomato plants are starting to shoot up, courgette is planted under the peas, all the seedlings have matured and have been planted in the borders and the sunflower competition is hotting up.

I have a feeling it could be Alan Titchmarsh looking for tips. :ROFLMAO:
