just accept the professional game is corrupt beyond our comprehension.

I do agree. Racism is rife in that part of the world but we seem to turn a blind eyeAnd how can the football authorities have players taking the knee and calling for equality then go to a place like Qatar with its human rights record. It’s hypocritical, why didn’t Southgate speak out about this.Doubles (standards) all round chaps, £££’s
Don’t forget homophobia and mysognism.I do agree. Racism is rife in that part of the world but we seem to turn a blind eye
From the Government travel advice to Qatar "Homosexual behaviour is illegal in Qatar"

How can the English FA run the respect campaign and even think about going?
Also no Importing of Pork products. Does this include Pork Scratchings???
That's what it's all about + 99% of people are happy to turn a blind eye to what's happening in the real world.£££££££££££££££££££££
Well said Sir. Hypocrisy of the highest order. The silence is deafening from the virtue signalersAnd how can the football authorities have players taking the knee and calling for equality then go to a place like Qatar with its human rights record. Because players, managers etc who take the knee are total hypercyts & dont want to miss out on the show business, money, fame etc, as you say double standards, posters on here who bang on about Brexit & call people racist will happily switch on the TV because at the end of the day, it dosent affect them & anyway its only a football match & theyre not missing it for the worldAnd how can the football authorities have players taking the knee and calling for equality then go to a place like Qatar with its human rights record. I will 100% guarentee I will not watch a second of the football, it may come on my screen if I'm watching the news but I wont put any world cup football on in my houseOf course. But I bet all of us are guilty to some degree.
Besides, even if we’re taking specifically about this World Cup, 99% who don’t agree with the goings on in the location and how people are treated will probably still end up watching, probably myself included.
Well said mate! There are many that would love to say the same (me included) but I doubt I will be able to ignore itI will 100% guarentee I will not watch a second of the football, it may come on my screen if I'm watching the news but I wont put any world cup football on in my house
Just like here then.I do agree. Racism is rife in that part of the world but we seem to turn a blind eye
You want to compare the Gulf region with what happens here?Just like here then.
Revolution my Arris. We can only dream and hope.
FIFA being bankrupt would benefit footfall immensely. eventually.
While FIFA , EUFA et al exist is is impossible to root out the inbred corruption.
I know it is a pipe dream but a fresh start is the only way.
Long live the revolution.
I haven't seen any fans defending Qatar getting the World Cup. On fmttm.com (as it was) there was post after post about the rights of the workers who have sadly died in their thousands now to build the stadia. I imagine every one of us against the World Cup being held in Qatar - I don't think fans are the enemy here. Not sure why people are attacking other supporters. Surely it is FIFA that should be the target.Well said Sir. Hypocrisy of the highest order. The silence is deafening from the virtue signalers
Just imagine if a football forum, something so, so small & hardly heard of outside the Boro, started something that grew & grewWell said mate! There are many that would love to say the same (me included) but I doubt I will be able to ignore it
That's as good as the 8 dart finishJust imagine if a football forum, something so, so small & hardly heard of outside the Boro, started something that grew & grew
