Pubs for QPR

As this is my first visit to QPR, can anyone recommend a good pub/ micro pub where away fans are welcome. Should expect to arrive in the area about 1pm. All advice greatly appreciated. UTB ⚽

From previous posts it seems a hassle getting a drink anywhere near the ground.
Think we'll just have a pint in one of the kings cross pubs.

Agree with everything said above. I went to QPR last season and the only pub in Shepherd's Bush away fans were allowed in was Belushi's, so as you can imagine it's rammed and takes an age to get served. Everywhere else is home fans only. It's the same after the game as well. If you want somewhere closer to the ground before the game try the Duke of Hammersmith (used to be the Hammersmith Draft House) which is literally 2 minutes walk from Hammersmith station and then two stops back on the tube to Shepherd's Bush Market.

Sedlescombe Social - has that changed its name?

On the corner of Goldhawk Road near the theatre opposite the Green.

I think you mean the Sindercombe Social. They weren't letting away fans in last time I went. Best bet is drink in Hammersmith and then tube it to Shepherds Bush for a short walk to the ground.

Don't go to Belushis. It's always rammed as the majority of pubs in Sheps Bush are home fans only and a home ticket has to be shown.

There is a big away pub for QPR opposite Wood Lane tune station. Sports Bar. Cannot recall the name but it is visible on the traffic lights corner almost straight outside the tune station. Can anyone remember the name?

Or drink in Hammersmith. Some decent boozers there. I like the Hampshire personally
Do you ever go with the Middlesbrough Supporters South - when games are on tv they now have a new base in Hammersmith - I was there Saturday! It’s called the prince of wales townhouse!

That’s looks like a great recommendation, not far from St Pancras. Can easily use the tube from St Pancras to Wood Lane

it's a bit different to dr.phils...... but both are great in their own way. if they have the pollys on, I recommend that - had some the other day - bloody gorgeous!

Is that the one behind ravenscourt Park? Never been there and didn't know it was the new MSS hangout. Cheers I'll check it out

Yes Prince of Wales Townhouse is one minute from Ravencourt Park Tube (District line) - District to Hammersmith then cross over busy roads to the little Hammersmith Tube Station for H/smith + City line or Circle line to Shep. Bush Market.

Its a bit of a pain if coming from King Cross direction.

Sindercombe Social sounds right - away fans only - it will be packed with Boro - those used to paying under £4 a pint its £6 here.

Do you mean Shepherds Bush station? There's nothing outside Wood Lane station apart from houses/Flats and The BBC.

The Sports Bar is Belushi's opposite the Central Line exit at Shepherds bush, next to Holland Park Roundabout.

There's a sports bar in the Westfield now. But the only pub opposite wood lane station is the broadcaster and it looks more posh wine bar than sports bar
