Pubs, clubs and restaurants close

Totally agree. Sadly it seems there are too many people lacking common sense and would have gone on spreading the virus regardless just so they could get drunk.

The Government just have enforced this quite some time ago.
 
The beckfiekds in Ingleby Barwick. Take 2 litre bottle in and they will fill it with any real ale for £2. Just over 50p a pint

Here is our Spanish local answer from our area:

STATIONS AND SERVICE AREAS

OPEN. CLOSED Shops, CAFETERIA and WC, except USE Carriers, bus drivers, ambulances, FCS, etc.

I think this means open to deliver petrol. The rest closed for general use. However available for special users.
 
Up until announcement, all were open with the exception of McDs seating areas.

Possibly change overnight.

Hard to take in really.

This is historic as prob the last time something like this happened was under Cromwell.

Btw I agree with but it’s pretty astonishing really. If some one says last year that in 12 months no football and no more pubs.
 
On way home from work Just drove past the corra, the new wine bar & the master Cooper were open & business as usual
 
Was in a supermarket at 6.30pm tonight it was pandemonium, people filling trolleys and baskets with any old booze. One fella had his trolley removed as he was way ott. Limit of two bottles rightly quickly imposed by staff. Seems booze is the new loo rolls. If they warned of a potential shortage of sun cream and insect repellant, the idiots would clear the shelves too.

It started like this here. Calmed down now. As people realised the shops will be replenished regularly.
