O I read it ,though i do find the glib / woke /liberal elitist /hand wringing Guardian hard work at the best of times , i suppose you look at these things from a personal perspective , have i ever been on a protest ? Never , am i ever likely to go on a protest , no .

You may have read it, but it's pretty clear you seem not to have understood it. Perhaps if it hadn't been written in a multi award winning paper (voted by their peers), you may have found it less like hard work. Have you ever benefited from anything achieved by being able to protest? Purely from a personal perspective of course.

Have you or your family ever enjoyed a walk in the countryside?
You wouldn’t have been able to without The Mass Trespass of Kinder Scout. Likely just one of numerous ways your current life has been indirectly improved by protestors. Take a chance to educate yourself.

Votes for women ? I would imagine our lass would be hell to live with without female universal sufferage . 😂

Ill give you that one , without The Chartists i would never have had the opportunity to have voted Tory at the last GE or had the pleasure of Mr Johnson as PM , glad to see you are all grasping the difficult subject of democracy at last .
