7 each, too young for the 1966-67 season

Exactly the same except the first 2 promotions . Remember Jacks boys but wasn’t old enough to go
 
Blast this board . I’m Just turning in and lying in bed and thought I’ll have a quick look in on the board AND now I’m gonna be mulling over Elland Road in 97 .

It took me years to deal with it and all my coping mechanisms are gonna be called upon big time 😤

Does this mean being present at game confirming event, or being cognisant of Boro affairs at the time (a fan!).
Surprised you didn't include relegation in '65 to Div3 for first time following Dickie Rook's hattrick in 5-3 defeat at Cardiff!

Up to 2017 we’d had an event every 3 years or so

We are due one.........
 
Not necessarily at the game of promotion/relegation just going to matches at that time.Also we were relegated in 66 not 65.
 
I used this as the basis of my wedding speech to thank my dad for being for there for me through all my ups and downs, or as we preferred to call them 5 promotions, 4 relegations, 6 cup finals and one final replay. To which my dad my responded in his finest boro accent
And we won 1!!!!!
Cue laughter and tears all around
