Should teams that - gamble all - on promotion be barred from being promoted if they have defaulted on wages / transfers / 'missed' accounting deadlines?

We've had too many teams try to bet the house on promotion, scrape through & go up & then the likes of Derby fail with the consequences it brings.

Fit & Proper needs to be strict about including & meeting - ALL - financial obligations.

It won't happen this season, however I think all EFL teams should have to meet strict promotion criteria, miss one of the criteria & no promotion.

Yes

What gets me is Sheffield Utd's, and all teams punishment in the same scenario to be fair, for being skint and unable to make the instalments due on transfers is.................. no more transfers!

They wouldn't be making anymore anyways as, guess what, they cant afford it.

Surely teams who gain an unfair advantage by buying players they cant afford and not paying for them should have a points deduction.

If they win promotion.. that won’t be the end of it. Because then they’ll need more money to compete in the premier league.
