I am sure that the next time she f***s up, and I am sure it won’t be long, it will be leaked very quickly. Still not sure, after lying to the PM when a minister whilst apparently being on holiday and holding high levels with military officials of a foreign state, she isn’t in prison. She is too stupid and arrogant not to mess it up again.

I take sine comfort from the fact that this will all come back to bite Johnson firmly in the ****. He has many silent enemies within and with the civil service wary of him hes going to be a dead man walking soon. Believe you me the beginning of the end.
On the one hand I really hope you are right, but on the other hand I hope you are wrong. He is a gift to Labour.

What is her background, is she privileged from wealth, maybe used to having staff working around the family home??? Maybe her upbringing has something to do with her superior attitude?

Patel was born on 29 March 1972 to Sushil and Anjana Patel in London.[3][4] Her paternal grandparents were born in Gujarat, India, before emigrating to Uganda, and established a shop in Kampala.[5] In the 1960s, her parents emigrated to the UK and settled in Hertfordshire.[6][7] They established a chain of newsagents in London and the South East of England.[8][9] She was raised in a Hindu household.[10][11]

She attended Westfield Academy in Watford before going on to study economics at Keele University and then pursuing postgraduate studies in British government and politics at the University of Essex.[12][13][14

Philip Rutnam

This is the breaker and Boris clearly hasn't thought this through.
Sir Philip has resigned from his job because of her, and is taking her to an industrial tribunal.
Senior civil servants and diplomats of this type usually continue to keep the code and keep quiet despite everything that ever happens to them.
He has now come out and said that what she told the Independent adviser is untrue.

The PM's independent adviser has investigated the allegations made against her and found them to be true.
He has written a report about his allegations, the contents of which are now public knowledge.

Sir Phil and his legal advisers will have the right to access to that report as part of his case.
Sir Phil does not appear to be the sort of man who is going to do a deal just so the government doesn't have to appear at an industrial tribunal, especially as he has had to give up his job because of her, and has now accused her of lying.

This little issue is not over yet for sure.

Surely he was interviewed as part of this investigation?

She’s going to have to resign if they’ve any hope of it going away. She’ll go away for a while and get her job back later on as per Liam Fox
