Prey - New Predator film

AvP could have been a great franchise as there is a lot of lore there but largely poor films

Absolutely loved this though and great audio mix, my subwoofer was shaking the house.
 
I thought pray was really rubbish, absolutely nothing going on for an hour and the rest was pretty poor, did enjoy the scene with the bear though.

Fair enough although I disagree. The merging of the two franchises ruined them for me. Predator 2 I didn't think was a good film. The first AvP set in the underground pyramid was just daft, Requiem was an abomination. Predators was meh as a film, might have been better with a better cast. The Predator was an unholy mess.

There is a 2015 fan film called Predator Dark Ages that is actually pretty good.

Prey was good, I prefer the slow burn. The rampant tech and constant gun fights are overdone and boring. This was nice to see a predator using more mechanical weapons and not be as polished a killer as his later brethren.
 
Predator is one of my all time favourite filums - I’ll be all over this like a tramp on a fallen kebab 😃 nowt will top the original like tho but
 
The scene with the bear was a great scene and the best scene in this movie. I enjoyed Prey and there were some good parts. It is worth a watch but it lacks in suspense to be classed as a great movie, imo.
