He said there is a certain amount of work to be done in the transfer window, we have targets and there will be players departing because of the difference in style of play (imagine Ikpeazu will be the first out the door).

Mentioned there are specific positions that he wants to improve, he didn't name them (out of respect). Noted the important work being done by Kieron Scott, mentioned his success at Burnley and Norwich and that they're working very closely. Said it's a lot of the work that he's doing at the moment.

Said he's really excited about how it could look, that it's an attractive place for players to come especially for 'young loan players'... Dean Henderson anyone? :love:

Mentioned his contacts and that they come from over 20 years of management, including from the Premier League, and that there's no 'snobbery' on where he gets the players from noting he brought in a player from League 2 who wasnt playing on a free and turned out to be one of his best signings... any idea who this could be? Regarding the PL he said he met some 'fabulous guys' who are really 'good football guys' who he's sure we'll look to for young players.
