Good breakfast time viewing. Forgoing the Newcastle v Leeds match to see how Saracens perform on their return to the elite. Couldn’t get tougher with an away match at Bristol. Should be good.

What a game yesterday London Irish 42 Wasps 42. A massive home team comeback.

it was on your doorstep @SmallTown Did you go?
Sadly not. I was out. I'll be going to more Exiles games best year though. Have a couple of mates support them so when quins aren't playing I'll go there!

Premiership is really exciting at the minute. Not exactly awash with quality but there were some cracking games this weekend alone. Sale Newcastle, Saints Quins. Really high scoring matches!

Exeter and Bristol have surprised me this season. Not at all the strength of last season. Obviously Saracens were always going to do well on their return but Leicester have been great.

Exeter have been brilliant since promotion years ago. I hope they're not starting a downward spiral. I suspect not as they still have quality players.

I honestly think we broke Bristol with that crazy comeback in the play off semi. They haven't been the same since. Exeters fall has suprised me though. Always great to have them around, their fans are superb.

Leicester are an interesting one, they used to be so strong, then their fall was pretty savage and now they are right back to the top again. Never seen such a steep "blip" from a top team. They are excellent though. We narrowly beat them a couple of weeks ago and they had half their team out injured. Pure quality.

I won't mention the salary cappers because I said the premiership is exciting and don't want to disprove myself.

Bristol had Malins and Earl as loanees last season. Back to Sarries now.

It was a good game. I kept switching over from the dreadful League One Play-Off Final. Quinns v Saracens looks tasty. I fully expect Saracens to win though.

Saracens game has been tasty. Absolute blood and thunder tackling but Saracens just too good so far. Saints ill discipline with two yellows in first half did not help their cause.

Great day out at Twickers today. Enjoy these big day outs. Same with Saracens v Bristol at Tottenham stadium which was also a cracking game.

Saracens survived a scare come back from Saints. Its all boiling up

Semis look like a "London" Derby and an East Midlands Derby. Both should be cracking matches.

Looks a certainty now. I'd actually rather go to Welford Road than the back end of Barnet but I the top three are likely to be what they are now.

In all likelihood it'll be a Saracens v Tigers final. Which is tragic for open rugby. Quin's v Saints would be a wild, ball chucked all over the place, 40-40 draw of a final. Leicester v the salary cap cheats will probably end 6-3
