Predictions for Tomorrow night?

Think we will play well, same midfield and defensive failings, somehow go 2-0 up then defend the six yard box. Badly.

Rotherham score, batter us. Predictable subs on 85 mins. We hang on for an unconvincing win.

Fans don't know whether to cheer, jeer or just breathe sigh of relief.

Scrappy win, giving us false hope before the break.

Our 'easy' run of games thereafter to be defined by inconsistency. A win where we play well in fits and starts, followed by a stinker.

I fear our season will pan out as it has started (with us moving ever so slightly into mid table mediocrity though).

But if we do lose, I honestly think he is toast.

Only conceded 6 goals all season (to our 13) and scored 12 (one less than us) anyone thinking we’ll roll them over is daft. They’re pretty much the team that we want to be, can score a decent amount of goals and are solid at the back to compliment it

Rotherham have a had a decent start to the season look to be a good team but think we will get a good reaction on Saturday we still have some very good championship players 3 - 1 to the Boro I am looking forward to it, keep the faith!

I really don’t know what to expect, we’ve bounced back from every defeat so far this season and the last two with win.

I’ve not watched much of Rotherham so don’t know what to expect from them either but they’ve been playing well by all accounts. Are they playing it on the deck or still more of a long ball team?

We need to get off to a fast start, no dwelling on the ball at the back, an early goal and we could get a few but the longer it remains 0-0 the more on the edge the crowd will be.

We need to set up to play for the draw. Cardiffesque sh!thousery from the beginning please. Every point is important when you are in a relegation battle.

We're definitely capable of winning it convincingly, but I'm worried that this team is looking like Mowbray's did at times.

Play in spells where it looks like we could thump them with 3 or 4 goals, before conceding a sloppy goal and chasing the equaliser instead.

Tonight I would settle for Crooks rising at the far post like Haaland and flicking it in for his fourth, just on the stroke of injury time being announced and Rotherham accepting their place in the record books with a 10-3 defeat.

Out of interest, what is peoples game plan post wilder? Doesn't seem a load of talented managers laid around and then they'll have their own opinion on squad etc. just can't see the Watford model of new manager every season working out for us
its not the watford model which is wrong its our recruitment, watford prove to a certain extent recruitment is far more important than the manager.

regular premier league cash is different to recruitment success. Watford owners own several clubs so can bounce players around the clubs if needed. Since 2015 they've had 6 seasons in the premier league and 2 in the championship including this one. None of those seasons have been particularly good for them with a high of 11th but mostly flirting with relegation, but having £100m+ a year revenue and other teams to send players from / to helps massively. We won't have any of that and a new manager will want his own players bringing in.

And that's where our model is wrong you cant expect to bring all your own players in and even harder to shift the players you don't want out its unachievable and would take seasons. If you have a dof the manager you recruit must work with clubs recruitment model.

Don’t think Rotherham will be the push over some people are expecting. Would love to see two upfront. Give Hoppe a go with Muniz from the start. A bustling performance from both lads up front and a goal each to take the pressure off wilder. 2-0.
