Fry was excellent when he came on.

McNair absolutely quality.

Dijksteel solid.

Akpom , great debut for me. Looks a good signing.

Morsy - game changed when he came on, we got a foot hold again. Must start next game.


Spence was particularly bad and he must improve.

Bettinelli disappointing on the goal but apart from the was decent. Still think he’s gonna be decent for us this season
 
Agree about Spence.
Yes, he's a young lad so we can't be too judgemental BUT the club has two sign two 'proper' full backs before the Window closes
 
Credit where it's due for Fry.
He's had a hard time lately but he played well today.

Our wingbacks have been poor all season, we either need to sign better ones or sign an actual left back and abandon it as a formation.

Something needs to change. We’re on our way to becoming a good side in this league if we can make 1 or 2 tweaks. A lot better than season thankfully.
 
I don't think we are far away from being a decent side. We look far better than last season.

We could easily have got a point at Watford and chances to win in the last 2 games. Its very much fine margins and breaks at the moment. We do need a win just to get up and running.

I thought Mcnair is coming vital with his delivery. I thought Morsy and Fry both did well coming on. Akpom did enough on his debut to suggest he's gonna be an asset as he's quick and athletic.

I think the biggest 'positive' is more a collective as in we look better. The only real 'negative' is we still struggle to score goals. 2 in 3 games😕. This is the 3rd season and 3 rd manager and we still don't create enough.

I still think we need a creative 'maverick' number 10 type.

Fine margins. We’re asking a lot from Spence and Tavernier, we need to see more from Wing or bring in a midfielder in to replace him.
 
For me there were more bad than good.
Individually there were good performances, McNair & Dijksteel. Good finish by the debutant and we dug in to hold on for a point.

However I think we lacked any cohesive team plan. Defensively I didn't think we were well organised, if the first ball wasn't properly cleared we were a bit shambolic getting ready for the second and that lead to their goal.
Not sure what our plan is from corners, we seem to be happy with a 3 on 2 around the penalty spot, I guess we are zonal rather than man to man.
Assombalonga can not finish to save his life. How many free headers has he had this season?
Our centre mids are a bit samey.

We need to strengthen centre mid & centre forward if we don't want to be lower mid table again.

Yeah him and Britt were more on the negative side. Johnson too although he was better than Spence.
 
I’m a big fan of Tav but I don’t think he really got in to the game today.

I do think if Tavernier is going to play he must be wide right rather than a central role.

I did think Fry did very well when he came on, and I am not a fan of the lad.
Morsy recycles the ball quickly and effectively, what we need is the front two to anticpate it, and in Britts case control the bloody thing.

Spence is going backwards by the game.

I thought our set play deliverys were very good today.
