Portugal v Ghana

I'm not sure it was a penalty, but to score in 5 world cup finals is some record. Fair play to him.
I can't do fair play to ronnie. I was in the North Stand the day he dived over Schwarzers out-stretched hand and won a penalty. Play back showed conclusively that it was a dive, Ferguson said it was justified because if he hadn't dived he'd have caught him.

Cheating b****d.

My thoughts exactly.

😂 What a stupid match. Do Ghana get fined if they shoot within 30 yards or what?! Two crosses, two goals, and every other effort was pinged from way outside the box. Spent half of it launching balls up to Andre Ayew to win in the air against Ruben Dias. Brainless football for most of the game from them and really technically bad, decent in that chaotic last 30 mins though.

Portugal looked good on the break, suits them playing like that.

Joao Felix is a tart. Bring on Brazil.

Can't complain too much about that 3rd goal. Really good.
Ghana paying the price for a complete lack of ambition for large parts of the match.
Which has been a problem with African football in general. They just don't score many goals because they play a defensive cautionary approach to games. When they play an expansive game they look threatening with the pace they possess.

I suppose the two N African teams could argue that the strategy paid dividends for them both getting good draws.

Pathetic penalty, but not surprising he goes down so easily. I'm shocked VAR didn't look at it. Anyway, I didn't think much of Portugal at all.
