Portugal v Germany.

Was going to say, on paper Pepe and Ruben Diaz is as good as it gets, but Diaz has looked really shaky for the best centre back in the Premier League.

Goosens and Kimmich are playing so high. 5 up front for Germany, it's like a 1950s formation.

I wasn’t impressed with Portugal in the first game against Hungary

They got a bit lucky with the first goal and the scoreline in the end flattered them. They were pretty poor for about 80 minutes.

They don’t look that good tonight either apart from one breakaway goal. Defence looks shaky too.

So was one of the German goals. Great that they don't do all this slide rule measurement.
Feel like VAR is so much more efficient in the Euros than it is in the Prem or am I kidding myself? Last night I feel that the Sterling 'penalty' would have been given by VAR in the Prem (wrongly IMHO). The application of VAR in the Prem is a 'divers charter'.

The application of VAR is much better here than the pem, in the prem refs and lines men seem to have defferred completely to VAR

I think England have done well defensively and we are yet to concede a goal.
Ming's has done very well despite the criticism before the tournament.
The Scotland game was a one off
We've still got a great chance of progressing.
Belgium look the team to beat for me...
