Poor Display, its going to take a while. Disheartening at the moment

A very poor display today the better team won and they look formidable with their new signings.

However we had the ball in and around the box at times in the first half and looked tippy tappy again with not one of them having a shot barring the oz new boy Silvera, who then maybe felt the others messed around way to much so kept having a go himself, but he shows his shot to much for my liking and struggles to get his shot away and gets block each time. He missed an excellent chance 2nd half, but he's learning.

He should perhaps watch videos of Slaven, to show how to get the ball away without telling the world what your intentions are.

I think there's few to many bedding in, I thought.

Coulson - cant play the quick short passing stuff anyway. He is not a full back at this level, he's a back up at best and even that must change.

Hackney (normally my favourite) poor game, everything he did turned to sh-ite, he should have got the hook early after half time, but to my surprise he took off Barlaser ! Imho Hackney has been dropping clangers way to often last 3 games.

Rodgers Poor anonymous first half, showed great skill and touch with adroitness in the 2nd, set up the perfect chance falling to Silvera who didnt have the composure. But there is promise in Rodgers I`m sure.

Crooks. Couldn't seem to get into the game, the game, he stood and pointed at ball being passed just before their first goal, when he could jhave got there himself, I was always taught if you see and do - do it and play hell afterward. Is he carrying a knock?

Jones, didnt start any serious graft until the early 2nd half...he doesnt look happy. and looked a bit bemused walking off.

I will leave the others alone except.

Mr Lenihan or the pointy arm waver arriving for the inquest.

I have to admit he hasnt been my favourite, and will acknowledge he has had a few encouraging displays, I remeber his sending off after which he almost dropped the same blob on his return after his ban, but if Mogga played him so regular for BR he must have something.
To me he is a liability in the same mould as St Ledger to me, I know this wont be popular with some, its just my opinion if Lenihan remains he will always be a liability at the back, He really does need replacing at some point. Fry is the player that goes up for the ball and Lenihan just walks around pointing at spaces. I wouldn't take him to the moon.🚀

I think the Chuba money is causing us issues, until we get it we cant sigh others, and he won't be going until the deadline by the looks of things.

We desperately need that Left back, well we know what else I wont tell you how to suck eggs.

I'm sure we will show more enterprise when then.

He's not and never has been this level. Nothing against the lad, but he's as weak as Caliber, he'd get out-muscled and outpaced by Lauren Hemp

He's been poor for the 3 games this year. Hope it's not second season syndrome. Maybe Howson back in the XI next week might help as they were telepathic last season

Nothing to work with first half but made some poor decisions. But, he lifted his game second half and really caused them problems.

Poor player, can cause mayhem for 10 mins, can finish, but also is slow, can't press, technique breaks down, can't hold it up. Needs to be a bench option nothing more

He did 'OK' but nowhere near that purple patch 2 years ago. Maybe it's time to accept that was him playing above himself, not the norm. Managers have done their work, they know what he's good at and what he isn't and have pretty much worked him out. Fine as a sub against a tiring side though

Not sure that is the reality. We were well inside FFP, before selling him, and had taken loans against the Tav money to ensure we had working capital. So, I don't think this is true at all. I'm confident we will spend more money than just these two players.

Didn't have a bad game against Huddersfield. It was his through ball that sent Jones away for the red card. If they weren't down to 10 we wouldn't have won.

Lenihan was outstanding last season, if you are comparing him to St Ledger you really have no clue.
Thanks Colin, thats 55 year down the drain watching them and 24 playing football 11 a side and 10 managing not to mention 5 a side., but I can take it from you. Its your opinion. I`m not perfect or do I claim to be, I think Lenihan isnt that good.

I was there, lots of misplaced passes too, by his high standards last year he is way off that in all 3 games.

I was there too. There were lots on the pitch who had significantly worse games. He wasn't poor that game.

We’ll have to disagree, he started off terribly for me, misplaced passes and nearly getting caught dwelling on the ball too often.

He only looked any good when they were down to ten, and so he should, he had loads of time and space on the ball; but it isn’t realistic to see that as being an example of his ability because 95% of the time he will have someone pressuring him, that’s when talent counts

Fair enough. Yes the first 10 minutes he wasn't good. He did cause issues on out box but the whole team did in those 10 minutes. He definitely improved before they went to 10 though. Like I said, it was his ball yhat caused tge sending off

Agreed he played some decent balls, but it was largely because he had so much time to play them. Barlaser has had one decent game for us and Hackney hasn’t played well for 6 or 7 appearances

I’ll stand by my words I’m afraid, Lenihan and Sean St Ledger aren’t comparable.
