I have nothing but contempt for Wales. They were talking of beating England to progress and knock us out at the same time before the tournament started.

Since they have been utterly sh!te, they fall back on how proud they were just to qualify, whilst singing the songs no one asked to hear and banging on about Welsh passion. Bore off.

I'll never forget the embarrassing scenes of them celebrating our loss to Iceland like THEY had just won the euros.

Hope we smash and embarras them.

Ordinarily from those 3 I'd want Wales, but given that it means a defeat for England if they do which is hardly good for morale going into the last 16 I'd have to change my mind.

Either remaining way then it's a hard question to answer. IF England win the group then I'd probably want the side that had the best chance of knocking the Dutch out on their day which would be IMHO USA?
 
I can make a case for any of them.

I know some Welsh people to whom I think it will mean a lot. Mind you, the Welsh passion was small and limp vs Iran.
I do want to see the rise in the popularity of football in the US to continue, so their progression would be good from that point of view.
I think Iran's players and fans have used the tournament to raise protests at their government's behaviour.

Heck, maybe I don't even want England to go through...;)
 
Iran definitely brought more to the tournament than the other two, played some lovely stuff at times against wales
