When is politics sub forum getting set up?

I'd say that we avoid sub-forums for now and see how posters use the new software.
There's enough new features of here to allow you to filter out what doesn't interest you.
For example, you can Watch a thread then use the forum tools to filter your view so you only see watched threads. All you'd need to do is view the unfiltered forum to see if anything of interest had been posted and watch the new threads you fancied.
If you had a political troll who only ever posted political threads then you could choose to ignore them and any threads they posted would never show up in your view.
I'd urge everyone to explore the options at the top of the page to see how you can customise what you see.
Also explore the formatting notions in the menu above the reply box to see what you can add to your posts such as spoilers, links etc.
If there's anything you need help!with then I'm certain that you'll get an answer from someone on here.

Hmm.
I posted a thread yesterday about mumps being on the rise, and when I got it how my knackers turned into two enormous snooker balls.
A short time later it turned into nasty political sniping.
How are you supposed to watch or not watch threads that get hijacked?

Yes I apologise for that Lemmy.
It's partly out of my own frustration with people bringing brexit into everything that had me set it off.
Don't think it's particularly nasty though. I can have disagreements with people without being nasty.

SJB you didn’t bring Brexit into that post though. Just some can’t help themselves. I suggested keeping them one forum for now and got shot down left right and centre.
There was a young man from Devizes
