I have just listened to the latest under the cosh podcast with Danny Mills.

I have also listened to the Downing podcast hosted by Mark Schwarzer (sp).

Are any other good podcasts available from players from the riverside era?

BBC Tees Boro podcast which can be listened to via the BBC Sounds app is decent, there's loads of interviews with ex Boro players from the Ayresome and Riverside days going back over the last few years (Pally, Hendrie, Deane, Cox, French Franck, Mills, Boateng etc). I enjoyed listening to a number of them, mainly whilst doing housework 🤣

Robbie Mustoe is a good listen

What podcast is Robbie Mustoe on?

Dean Windass was very funny on under the cosh. He said boksic brought in short term loans in from Croatia!
I'm sure they're all on BBC tees red, good listen, interesting bit when he talks about the Blackburn game when we failed to turn up

Also not Boro but I really enjoyed the MOTD: Top 10s podcasts on the BBC.

Lineker is such a natural presenter / facilitator of these things, brilliant at sparking conversations, and some really entertaining stories and insights from top players.

Also hilarious to hear them all swear like dockers.

The Robbie Mustoe podcast is just unreal and you realise how long he's actually been at the club when he talks about Lennie all the way to being let down by McLaren.

Also really enjoyed Jamie Pollocks & David Wheaters boro related.

Non Boro related however John Beresford with his Newcastle stories about the rise under Keegan and Clarke Carlisle jeez that man went into a dark place (2 parter that one) but that was a very good listen.

Ha! Yeah that's true. He's so skilled at it now though, you'd forget he was ever a footballer.

Very different character to your usual middle-aged ex pro. Thoughtful, genuinely witty. Really good at controlling the room with a light touch, gets the tone just right for the big live England games, reminds me a bit of Des Lynam in that respect.

Think being a sports broadcaster is a harder job than it seems, and being the main anchorman presenter is way harder. Most of the Sky Sports presenters are identikit with that weird shouty nasal sports reporter voice that no-one does in real life. I like how Lineker does his own thing - I know he rubs some people up the wrong way by being so opinionated on social media about everything from politics onwards, but I like that, a bit of personality and independence.

You're right though, it takes them all a few years to get good at it.

The Two Robbies podcast is good with Mustoe and Earle.

The Boro Breakdown is a great listen and has had a few interviews, Harrison, Stockdale, Dimi, Whitehead. I think the Middlesbruh Pod interviewed Mustoe too.

As mentioned BBC Tees have done loads and Two Sharp Reds with Schwarzer often mention Boro and interviewed Downing.

Total BS with Slaven has been running loads of interviews recently, some from his Boro TV days.
