PMQ's

Blackford made good use of his 2 questions quote aggressively asking Johnson to resign and asking the Conservative benches to help him on his way.

Felt a bit like Starmer was softening him up then Blackford comes in with the knockout blow.

How much longer can Johnson play the old Teflon routine

Blackford is in a different position to Starmer so he does tend to go harder at PMQ's. His 2 questions were beautifuly orated.

Never seen BJ so shambolic and rambling, an utter clown
What is going to happen?

1. Boris Johnson throws conservative staff under the bus, in order to strengthen his position as bring tough on law/crime/covid etc

2. Boris Johnson takes it on the chin as he jokes his way out of a job he was never suitable for.. passing the baton to Rishi Sunak.

Oh dear, no mention of Dominic Cummings' tweet on the BBC 1 One o'clock News which appeared during PMQ...

"Will the CABSEC also be asked to investigate the *flat* party on Fri 13 Nov, the other flat parties, & the flat's 'bubble' policy...?"

Labour's Catherine West brought it up during PMQ but the BBC obviously don't deem it newsworthy.

Unless I missed it whilst making a cuppa

Cumming's tweet was mentioned in Politics Live (BBC 2) - it's only recent so may not have made it onto the main news programmes yet. Plus I'd imagine they have to be careful how they report it.

In all fairness to the BBC they have been pretty scathing about the party stuff and PMQ's today.

This is on their website...

"During PMQs, Labour MP Catherine West asked if there was a party in Downing Street on 13th November.

This was the day former adviser Dominic Cummings left his post working for the Prime Minister. The Mirror has claimed that Boris Johnson spoke at a "leaving do" on that date.

Boris Johnson said "no, but I'm sure that whatever happened the guidance was followed and the rules
were followed at all times"."

Again, denying there was a party but if there was one, all rules were followed. It's a ridiculous defence.

I don't want to come across as having a go at Blackford but what was his 2nd question as I couldn't make one out and it allowed Johnson to basically ignore it.
His second question was to the tory backbenchers. If he wont do the right thing, will you remove him from office.

Johnson ignored every question anyway.

Wes Streeting gave his "Point of Order" at 12:42pm if you watch back the coverage

Leading the Speaker to clarify that any annoncement about new restrictions must be made to the house first.......he wasn`t happy
