Plymouth away

They kept it quiet about selling Boxing Day tickets - its still 22 days away.

9,000 Boro fans will be after only 7,800 home tickets.

I expect Sheff Wed to take their full allocation.

Home tickets for the two Christmas home games went on general sale on Monday at 10am.

We've only given Sheff wed a straight 2k which seems a bit mean (a bit Sunderland).

I can't remember a media release story which I would have expected for the Boxing Day game.

Lots of people are back on Teesside on Boxing Day, who maybe work well away from Teesside or people who have left the area return to visit relatives and friends etc - Going to a Boro game becomes a bit of bonding ritual.

I agree, possibly MFC think they will sell more to Boro fans for this game, buoyant sales in the the last 2 days suggest this. Revenue is higher if a ticket is bought by a Boro fan.

Not sure a reduced away allocation means more available to home fans, there are still an an awful lot of seats not available in the away corner.

Ticket sales seem pretty slow reckon only about 700 sold. Can’t see it being sold out to near x

Just had a look for the 1st time, I can buy tickets today but I was wondering if the end block nearest the goal area had been on sale or it was still to appear, at the moment it's just blocks 22 or 23.
