PLAYERS WALKING ONTO PITCH PRAYING 🙏

Strange thread 😂

Surely no 'worse' or different to praying when a loved one is ill or when 0-0 in the last min and you have a free kick on the edge of the box?

I don't believe in god etc. I'd never even pray if someone is ill as it frankly makes no difference. Yet wouldn't ridicule anyone for beliefs.

Religious beliefs being dismissed, but if the taking of the knee is ridiculed, all hell breaks loose?? Why are there double standards??
The difference is individual choice verses group think. I personally had an issue with the knee because it was basically forced on teams

So what happens if players from both sides pray? Does God have to take a break from flooding Pakistan or spreading AIDS in Africa to choose which team he likes better? And how does the player who prayed but lost the game justify that to himself afterwards?
It means his magic wand is broken….

Does this include Sunday league? 😁

Is this thread really spreading religious intolerance or is it just questioning praying for selfish ends. Dave Allan the comedian not the Boro fan would no doubt have mocked religion by saying if players from both sides pray it would be a score draw. I dont think anyone saying they can't pray just asking the question what are god(s) expected to do in response.

On second thoughts your follow up about the knee shows your true colours

What is the rationale behind this thread? If player X wants to pray before or during a match then that's his prerogative. Whether he feels that will bring about an improvement in his performance, the teams performance or the end result that's totally up to him/her.
May be you should stick to watching conference league football where there's a lot less ethnic diversity and you won't have to put up with watching such disgraceful acts. Or may be you should just get out more.

Praying to win a football match by people getting hundreds of thousands a week a find pathetic. When people are struggling in this country to meet ends
