Players sometimes forgotten, or overlooked.

Diego Fabbrini - played half the promotion season, easy to forget. He was decent too.

Mark Burke - left for a pretty decent career in Holland, which to be fair suited his game better than English football, as it was then at least.

I'd love to see how he'd fair in the current style of football - I think he'd prosper.

It can't be a coincidence that most of the players listed so far were around during the Mowbray/Strachan era, where players kind of came and went in a short space of time. I wonder what the stats are for players used in those seasons.

My shouts are:

Carl Ikeme (GK)
Nicky Bailey
Ryan Federicks
Stepehen McManus

Boros mighty cup semi final team v arsenal. We had so many injuries we had to play Michael Debeve twice. Bizarre that Boksic and Schwartzer played as Boksic was always injured and Schwartzer would usually get injured by some west ham **** before any big game.

Middlesbrough: Schwarzer, Stockdale, Ehiogu (Festa 32), Southgate, Queudrue, Wilkshire (Stamp 56), Mustoe, Johnston (Marinelli 76), Michael Debeve, Michael Debeve, Windass, Boksic.

Probably my favourite ever defeat. Couldn't have asked any more from the players that day. Or the fans. Atmosphere was phenomenal, proud to be a Boro fan that day.
