Just speaking on the phone to my friend from Bergen, Norway - ordered to be self-isolate following travel to this country to see Boro beat Charlton. He is self employed and so isn't earning now. Typical of Bjarte he is sitting there thinking of ways to help out fellow small businesses.
But some of his ideas are really great - once the virus has gone organising on social media pub crawls or cafe crawls and the like of his favourite places. And encouraging others to not only join him but to do the same for their network of venues. And buying as much stuff locally and certainly not on online in the future. They also will be looking at ways to support their football club out. And that could also be a model for us in this country. In Norway people are looking to buying tickets for medical staff at their local football club is a double thank you and also to help out their club in its time of need.
