Did this guy get right to the centre circle to ask howson for his shirt without being approached or stopped?

EDIT ... i see there was at least another 2 aswell shown on the BBC

One ran on for a Chelsea shirt. I really hope he's not a Boro fan😒

This is happing every week. Thank god none of them are knife wielding crazies.
 
Surely it can't be difficult to grab them as they leave, and sort out a ban.

Of course, it's difficult to enforce the ban, but we can at least try to go through the motions, can't we?
 
One looks rather pleased with himself not sure what was going on with the other guy (he could have been carrying anything on him) .. the club needs to issue a statement to say this will not be tollerated and this is what you can expect if you enter the 'field of play' or pass the advertising screens

Getting to be a bit of a joke now. Lost count of how many ran on at the end as I clapped the team off. Few of them went flying like so hope they wake up with a few bruises in the morning.

What happened to stewards forming a line around the pitch towards the end of the match? Used to happen a lot a few years ago.
 
Doesn't help that there been loads go viral where the players still give them their shirt. Load of kids think they can do the same, get something to flog on eBay and their 5 mins of fame.

I initially thought the guy in the 2nd photo was squaring up to a Chelsea player. He went up to several Chelsea players and from where I was sitting it looked as though he was getting in the face of one player.

Again the response from the stewards was really poor.
 
It doesn't help that a sizeable portion of the crowd cheer them on and encourage them when they do it.

It's definitely becoming an issue in recent weeks.
 
There’s a sizeable amount of kids holding up placards🪧 begging for the players tops too…

One kid ran off with a warm up ball l today too while the stewards just looked on…

Me too it got a little bit uncomfortable for a while as others have said he could been carrying anything.

Who Knows what his intentions were.

I normally defend the club on anything but this is getting silly now as there appears to be scant regard for stopping them.
