Piers Morgan the hypocrite.

He's been calling everyone out for his whole career. He's not doing anything new. The only reason people haven't been listening for the last couple of years is because it was mainly pro-brexit. He's always been a bellend though but he doesn't mind. He is deliberatley controversial and attention seeking.

Cant stand Morgan but he has held the government to account every step of the way like any journalist should, just a shame that the majority of the media gave them an easy ride

I generally despise him, but it is hard not to agree with his assessment of the government's handling of the pandemic.

He has faced the same problem that he usually does, although this one is not of his making.

He usually interviews (and talks over) dopes with easy-to-ridicule viewpoints so the GMB YouTube channel can get hits from 'Piers Morgan OWNS transgender man who believes he is his old cat's ghost' type videos.

But now he is interviewing (and largely talking over) low-ranking dopes who happen to be government ministers. They are deer in the headlights, but they are ultimately not the head honchos making wrong decision after wrong decision.

We need to see the likes of Patel, Hancock, Rees-Mogg and Johnson himself getting this type of treatment from Piers Morgan, and from the wider press. Instead, we get Laura 'First Question' Kuenssberg with her trademark opening salvo of "Mr Prime Minister, just how did you get so perfect?"

Much comfier in the fridge, clearly.

Well I read the article and couldn't see anything about Piers Morgan breaking any rules.. There was something about his son having ignored the new guidelines for meeting people but there was no evidence in the article about how many people he had met. Bit like going to the beach really isn't it. Pop down with five friends and another few thousand do the same thing. All of a sudden you're accused of meeting 6000 people.

I notice the Spectator still haven't explained Mary Wakefield's lockdown in London article yet.

He's not broken any rule so the headline is a total lie, just the Spectator gossip column under orders from Neil, Mrs Gove and Mrs Cummings desperate to deflect attention from the govt's world class / world-beating liars.

If you are going to call the government out you can’t then display hypocrisy as well. He has it abundance with his son

Yes he's a complete Attention seeking self absorbed character but Its ironic that his followers were the great social media Bozo army during Brexit and the last general election vote. Now hes turned on Johnson and the administration he's suddenly become the devil incarnate to The bufton tuftons of Tunbridge Wells.

This thread is certainly showing in boxing parlance who is in the Red Corner and who is in the Blue Corner

Supporting his son’s right to protest v Dominic Cummings complete disregard for anybody else, his self appointed position as head of vaccines in SAGE and the twister of the truth on his own blog. Yes thats a fair comparison. Not.
The problem is he called Barry gardiner reckless and irresponsible for doing the same thing as his son

There lies the hypocrisy

See also the host of MP's (from all sides) who have breached the rules, however only some are immune from condemnation.
