Not much 70's related football & im a bit bored so looking through some of my photo album of action shots, press photos & thought to post a pictue of Peter Brine
PB made his debut wearing the No12 shirt on the 7th October 1972 at home to Millwall, coming on for Gordon Jones, full debut on the 20th January 1973 at home to QPR
His last appearence home to Birmingham on the 10th September 1977, also Billy Ashcrofts home debut

I always liked Peter Brine, one of the two subs regularly used in the famous 1973-74 season, i've met a few times when he visits from Australia & who I talk to on FB

I liked Briney as well. I got the train back from Sunderland where I was at college to see a night match against Arsenal. Train broke down so I had to run from the station to make the kick off. By the time I was in the Holgate he'd put us one up. We thrashed them 3-0 playing some great football.
 
supermouth was playing for arsenal - after the mid week game he said "that wont happen again, losing 3 goals to boro"..

as Erimus says, 4 days later in the cup we got 4 - rough old day that was.

is he (peter brine) still up the aussie gold coast with a restaurant(s), erimus ?

He certainly is 👍 spoke to him over the last few days with regards to those photos
