Going out of my mind not being able to go to the gym, also we are being told to do all Phys individually (makes sense) I'm bored to death of runs and hills with weight, what are people doing? I'd love some ideas to spice it up a bit!

Go to your phone's app store and search for "bodyweight exercises".

Do something like Runtastic Results or Freeletics and you'll have something to complain about ;)

Want something a bit different , Davina Own Your Goals offers all sorts of pre recorded classes - yoga, Pilates, core strength etc. Normally a subscription service but free for thirty days. No catch takes two minutes to register and no credit card details required.

Have you not got a weights bench? Maybe buy one online, could be inside a long time.

There needs to more restrictions on this exercise lark otherwise cyclists and runners, triathletes etc will take this mick travelling miles and staying outdoors for hours. It should be all exercise within in a couple of miles of your residence and no longer than an hour.

That makes no sense? Especially for cyclists. An hour is barely exercise for them. Ditto anyone training for a marathon.

As for the OP. My CrossFit box has started posting "no equipment" work outs. It's nowhere near the same but should keep us fit for the next few months.

It doesn’t make sense. You’re allowed out for exercise so that’s exercise. It’s to keep you healthy which should help you fight the virus.

If you cycle on your own there’s very little chance of you coming in to contact with others. Some of my planned training runs will be over the hour mark.

Recommend cycling. I was out on the bike today as usual, and there were a few people who were out & about wearing facemasks.

physical exercise is vital for many people's mental health, sadly some people don't understand this (n)

i was gutted when my gym closed its doors after the outbreak. luckily they gave us free access to 100 hours of les mills classes a month while they're shut.

im not a huge fan of them myself, but it's better than nothing when you want/have to isolate :cautious:

last night me n mrs picol made space in the living room and did a pretty epic body combat class. it wasnt the most romantic of evenings, but it's important to do things together

i think you can find some of the older classes on youtube if you're after something a bit different

I've got a gym in my garage. If I used a proper gym I would be devastated. If you want to use it you can mate for a large fee, I'm not a f*cking charity 😂
